This is me

I have lived in Guernsey for over 36 years now, and have always loved the island, especially its natural beauty, its highways and byways, and the historic features to be found around almost every corner. Although the island is now much more busy than when we moved here, the beauty remains, and I love nothing better than being out on the cliff paths, walking the coastal pathways or exploring the green lanes, and finding out more about the island on the way.

I have walked the island for many years, circumnavigated it many times, in all weathers, alone and with groups. If anything, my love for walking has grown, and I continue to learn more and more about the island, its heritage, its flora and fauna, and its treasures.

I love the cliffs, hard though they can be, but I am also fascinated by the many green lanes and hidden pathways around and through the parishes. I will be publishing the routes I walk, about the places I visit, and speaking of the kiosks around the island. I will also speak to those I meet on my travels, both locals and visitors to the island, and will include some of their thoughts.
